Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has condemned the firing incident involving Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff in Mumbai’s Juhu area, saying police have identified suspects and will soon arrest those responsible.
Fadnavis said Mumbai Police had taken the incident seriously and were working on clues gathered during the investigation. He warned that no gang or individual involved in the firing would be spared, regardless of where they were hiding.
“Regardless of the gang or the individual involved, no one will be spared. If anyone attempts to operate through such threats, the Mumbai Police knows exactly how to set them straight,” the Chief Minister said.
Speaking at a press conference, Fadnavis said authorities would also pursue the masterminds behind the firing, including those allegedly operating from outside Maharashtra or abroad.
“The Mumbai Police have taken it with the utmost seriousness. They have obtained certain clues, based on which they are currently working, and specific individuals have already been identified. These people will be arrested very soon,” he said.
Lawrence Bishnoi Custody Request Underway
Fadnavis also addressed efforts to take Lawrence Bishnoi into custody, saying a request had already been sent and the legal process was underway.
He said police would follow due procedure while pursuing those allegedly responsible, including masterminds believed to be operating from outside the country.
“We have already sent the request and action is currently underway. That is why I said, no matter where their masterminds might be hiding, the due legal process must be followed,” Fadnavis said.
The Chief Minister added that people operating from within Maharashtra had already been arrested, while authorities would coordinate with other states and seek assistance from the Central Government to track those allegedly operating from abroad.
Tiger Shroff Escapes Firing in Juhu
The firing took place on Sunday evening in Mumbai’s Juhu area. According to police, unidentified individuals opened fire at Tiger Shroff’s car as he was leaving a football club at around 7 pm.
A case was registered against three unidentified individuals under Sections 109(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Sections 3 and 25 of the Arms Act.
Two people, including Tiger’s driver, were injured in the firing, while the actor escaped without gunshot injuries.
Following the incident, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited Tiger’s residence on Sunday night to check on his well-being and assure him of the state government’s support.

Security of Actors to Be Reviewed
Fadnavis said the government would analyse all aspects of the firing to determine whether changes to the security arrangements for actors were necessary.
He expressed confidence in Mumbai Police, describing the force as highly professional and saying it would take all necessary steps following the incident.
