Mumbai Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff was fired upon in Mumbai's Juhu area on Sunday evening when he was returning in his car after playing football. According to preliminary information, bike-riding attackers fired several rounds at his car. Tiger Shroff escaped safely in the attack, while his driver and an auto-rickshaw driver were injured.
Mumbai Police has confirmed that Tiger Shroff has not been shot and is completely safe. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. After the incident, the police have cordoned off the area and started investigation and CCTV footage is being scrutinized.
After the incident, a post went viral on social media, in which the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has allegedly claimed responsibility for the attack. However, Mumbai Police has not yet officially confirmed this claim and it is also being investigated.
Taking the matter seriously, the Maharashtra government has directed the police to arrest the accused soon. Several police teams are busy searching for the attackers and the entire matter is being investigated from various aspects.
