Tilak Verma-Mohammad Siraj are involved in which dispute, why was the legal notice issued?

The controversy regarding the proposed TG20 League is deepening. Telangana Cricket Association (TCA) has issued legal notices to actors Vijay Deverakonda, Venkatesh and cricketers Tilak Verma, Ambati Rayudu and Mohammed Siraj associated with this league. TCA alleges that this league has not received the approval of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), yet it is being promoted.

TCA has said in its notice that Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) is doing commercial work related to this league in collaboration with corporate entities without the permission of BCCI. The association says that promoting any cricket league without official approval may be against the rules and may also raise questions on the credibility of the game.

Why did TCA send legal notice?

TCA has also expressed concern that the league, the status of which is not yet clear whether it has received official approval or not, is being heavily promoted through big film stars and cricketers. The association says that this can spread confusion among cricket fans and common people. This is why legal notices have been sent to celebrities and players promoting the league.
