Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath participated in the felicitation ceremony of youth trained from Skill Development Mission and ITI. On this occasion, a booklet ‘Kaushalam’ based on the work and achievements done across the state in the last 12 successful years of the Central Government was also released by the Department of Vocational Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission. The Chief Minister said, today every youth has faith that the double engine government will not allow anyone to play with his future.

The Chief Minister said, in the last 9 years, more than 9 lakh youth have been provided government jobs in Uttar Pradesh. Today the MSME sector is providing employment to more than 3.25 crore youth and artisans. Today, training in modern technologies like AI, Robotics, Drone Technology, Space Technology and 3D Printing is being given in ITIs of Uttar Pradesh. Training ranging from Plumbing to Semiconductor Manufacturing is being provided in Skill Development Centers of Uttar Pradesh.
The youth who became self-reliant through employment and entrepreneurship after getting training from Skill Development Mission and ITI, were honored today in a program organized in Lucknow on the occasion of World Youth Skills Day-2026.

He further said, in every district, MSME, Vocational Education & Skill Development and Labor and Employment Department will together establish Employment & Industrial Zone in the name of Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. These will be World-Class Skilling Centres, where youth will be given training as per their interest and ability and arrangements will also be made to provide them immediate employment in the field of their choice.
The youth workforce of Uttar Pradesh is our biggest strength. We will definitely achieve the target of 1 Trillion Dollar Economy by the year 2029-30 with the strength of our youth. UNESCO has set the theme of World Youth Skills Day this year as ‘Skills for a Shared Future’. We have to remember that the future is shared only when opportunities are shared and opportunities are shared only when there is a government with that thinking.
