Today Weather: Slight drop in temperature in Delhi, morning drizzle in Ghaziabad, snowfall in Uttarakhand-Himachal

The weather has suddenly taken a turn in the country’s capital Delhi and surrounding NCR areas. While till a few days ago the strong sunlight and rising temperature were troubling the people, now a slight drop in the temperature has been recorded, due to which there is some relief in the weather. The morning drizzle in Ghaziabad, UP has changed the mood of the weather.

On the other hand, the weather patterns are completely different in the hilly states. Snowfall continues in many areas of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, due to which a huge drop in temperature has been recorded.

Chance of rain in Delhi in the evening

Due to intense sunlight in the national capital on Thursday, the temperature crossed 40 degrees Celsius. Hot winds and scorching sunlight troubled people a lot throughout the day. Today there may be a slight change in the weather and the sky is likely to be partly cloudy. There is a possibility of rain with thunder and lightning in the afternoon or evening, although the possibility of a major drop in temperature due to this is currently said to be low.

Sprinkling of rain in Ghaziabad

It is expected that the effect of extreme heat will continue in Uttar Pradesh for the next 2 to 3 days. However, light drizzle was seen in Ghaziabad this morning, which brought relief to the weather for some time. At the same time, the temperature in Banda has been recorded more than 44 degrees Celsius. Heat wave-like conditions are prevailing in many parts of the state with intense sunlight and at present there is no possibility of much relief from the weather in the coming days.

How will the weather be in Bihar?

There are chances of light rain in some parts of Bihar today and tomorrow, due to which people may get relief for some time. Due to drizzle in some districts, a slight drop in temperature may also be recorded. However, after April 19, the weather is likely to change again and during this period, as the heat increases, a heat wave warning has also been issued.

Period of rain and snowfall in hilly states

There is a possibility of snowfall in these areas. Also, storm-like conditions may occur at some places with strong winds. An alert has also been issued regarding hailstorm in high altitude areas.

Light rain in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh

Slight fluctuations in weather may be seen in the states of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh. There is a possibility of light rain in some areas on April 17. Along with this, a slight drop in temperature can also be recorded. At present the weather trend is expected to be mixed.

Heat wave alert in Madhya Pradesh

The scorching heat has reached its peak in Madhya Pradesh and the situation may become more serious in the coming days. In many areas the temperature is being recorded close to 43 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heat wave, due to which it can be very difficult to go out during the day.

Effect of western disturbance in Rajasthan

Slight changes are being seen in the weather in some areas of Rajasthan. There is a possibility of light rain in many districts including Jaipur, which may provide some relief amid the scorching heat. However, the weather is likely to remain unstable.
