There is an alert of heavy rain in many districts of Uttar Pradesh including Kanpur, Agra, Mathura, Bareilly, Prayagraj and Meerut. There may be torrential rains in districts like Katihar, Gaya, Purnia and Bhagalpur of Bihar. There is a possibility of rain along with dust storm in Rajasthan, while in Madhya Pradesh, there is an alert of thunderstorm and rain at many places including Indore, Katni and Chhindwara.

There will be rain with strong winds in Himachal, Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir. Wind in West Bengal can reach up to 55 km per hour. There is orange alert in Pathanamthitta, Kottayam and Idukki in Kerala.
