Hyundai Creta was most in demand
Creta is sold by Hyundai as a mid-size SUV in the Indian market. Last month it was the best selling SUV of the segment. During this period, total sales of 16,288 units of Creta were recorded.
Maruti Victoris stood at second place
Maruti Suzuki’s Victoris also established its strong presence in the mid-size SUV segment. A total of 12,978 units were sold last month. With this sales, Victoris stood second in the segment.
Kia Seltos in third place
Kia’s popular SUV Seltos is also included in this list. The company introduced the new generation of Seltos in the Indian market in January 2026. After this there was an increase in demand for SUVs. Last month, 11,716 units of Seltos were sold. Its sales registered an increase of about 150 percent on an annual basis.
Toyota Hyrider at number four
Toyota’s urban cruiser Hyrider is also popular among customers in the mid-size SUV segment. Last month, 8,234 units were sold. However, on a month-on-month basis, Hyrider sales declined by more than 9 percent in 1.
Grand Vitara made place in top-5
Maruti Suzuki’s Grand Vitara also made it to the top-5. Last month the company sold 7,808 units. With this sale, Grand Vitara stood fifth in the mid-size SUV segment.
