Ram Kapoor abuse secret: Popular TV actor Ram Kapoor is currently in the news for his reality show ‘Lock Up 2’. In the ‘Judgment Day’ special episode of the show, he shared an experience in his life, which he had kept hidden from the world for years. He spoke publicly for the first time about an incident of sexual harassment while studying at a boarding school.

On the show, Ram said, “I was sexually harassed in a boarding school. When I was in eighth grade, at the age of thirteen, we used to sit in the same room after school. We used to chat, have fun. One of us was a 10th grader, who was sitting on the bed with me. He touched me inappropriately under the covers. There were about 30-40 other students sitting in the same room. At that moment I was speechless and stunned.”

I couldn’t do anything in that situation, so he tried to touch me more. I didn’t know what was happening to me. I didn’t know whether I should do something or just bear what was happening. I don’t know how, but after a long time I told him that I was not feeling well. He stopped at that moment and immediately left the room. After this incident I had changed a lot, I was dumb and living with that trauma

Ram further explained that the boy, who had touched him inappropriately, came forward and apologized to the actor. He felt guilty every day. Ram said, “It’s strange, but the person who traumatized me also helped me. We became good friends. All credit goes to him; he put in a lot of effort. It’s a secret that no one in my family knows, let alone my children, except my wife Gautami Kapoor.”

“Even today I still feel that trauma, but I am very happy that it happened to me. Because of it, I am not afraid of the gay community at all. Whenever I meet people like Sufi Motiwal, I feel a strong connection with them; I am not afraid of them. They may not understand me, but I do not see any negativity in them. The person was not wrong; at that age, hormones are high, so the person was just a little excited.” I give the guy credit because he tried so hard to get me out of that mental slump, he really wasn’t a bad guy.
