Tourist guide injured in knife attack in Amer dies, people close the market and take to the streets in protest

America News: Tourist guide Manish Soni, who was seriously injured in the stabbing incident that took place in Amer on Monday, September 7, died during treatment. Manish was undergoing treatment at Sawai Mansingh Hospital in Jaipur. Due to his critical condition, doctors could not save him. As soon as the news of the guide’s death was received, there was anger among the tourist guides and local people. In protest, the markets of Amer were closed and a large number of people came out on the streets.

According to the information, there was a dispute over some issue between the jeep driver and tourist guide Manish Soni at Mawatha Sarovar of Amer. Within no time the dispute escalated and Manish was attacked with a knife. The knife hit his stomach, due to which he was seriously injured.

After the incident, Manish was admitted to the hospital for treatment. At the same time, tourist guides and local people were continuously demanding strict action against the accused. After Manish’s death, people’s anger increased further.

Markets closed, demonstrations on streets

Amer markets remained closed in protest against the death. Hundreds of people took to the streets to demonstrate. The protesters demanded immediate and strict action against the accused. He says that such incidents raise serious questions on the security arrangements in Amer, which is important for tourists and local people. The protesters have demanded financial assistance of Rs 1 crore, government job and allocation of dairy for the family of the deceased. Apart from this, demands have been raised for immediate bulldozer action on the house of the murder accused and immediate action through encounter of the accused or fast track court.

People have also demanded a complete ban on illegal driving in and around Amer Palace, removal of the entire staff of Amer police station and suspension of the SHO and the investigating officer. The protesters allege that no action was taken on the complaint given earlier. Along with this, a demand has been made to provide police protection to the victim’s family.
