The petrol version gets a CVT and the hybrid model gets an e-CVT gearbox. As per the current ARAI certified mileage, the petrol model returns 16.13 kmpl, while the hybrid model returns 23.24 kmpl.

Big screen and new features in the cabin

The update of the Kijang Innova Xenix launched in Indonesia is likely to bring changes to the cabin of the Indian model as well. The new model gets a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen. The current model gets a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, electrically adjustable seats and second row ottoman seats. The facelift is likely to get new interior colors, upholstery and updated software.

E30 Petrol support and possible cost

The Toyota Innova Hicross facelift may get more support for ethanol blended petrol. The company had previously shown a flex-fuel HyCross prototype running on E85 ethanol. The new model is expected to support E30 or higher ethanol blends. But the official information about this has not come out yet.

The likely ex-showroom price of the new Toyota Innova Hicross facelift could be between ₹20 lakh and ₹35 lakh. Maruti Suzuki Invicto will be its closest rival. The new design, hybrid technology and changes in the cabin could make this MPV a new option for customers.
