Toyota Launches Ninth Generation 'All-New Hilux' in India; Price starts from Rs 31.99 lakh

Toyota Kirloskar Motor today announced the India unveiling of its iconic vehicle 'All-New Hilux'. This is an important step towards strengthening our SUV range in the country. Symbolizing Toyota's tradition of reliability, durability and superior quality, this ninth-generation Hilux has been specially designed to offer rugged durability and all-round performance.

Based on the IMV platform, the all-new Hilux offers excellent all-round utility while being durable for extreme tasks, comfortable for city driving and capable of adventure travel. This flexibility reinforces Toyota's commitment to 'Mobility for All', as well as deepens lifelong relationships with customers.

'Tough and Agile' Design and Appearance:

Designed under the “Tough and Agile” concept, the all-new Hilux combines rugged strength and dynamic agility. Its bold front-end is inspired by the “Cyber ​​Sumo” concept, which represents the iconic pre-combat posture in sumo wrestling. A newly designed front bumper, piano black accents, LED headlights with welcome function, LED fog lamps and distinctive daytime running lights add to the modern look. Apart from this, alloy wheels, aerodynamic stabilizing fins, electrically adjustable and retractable ORVMs, LED rear combination lamps and sharp-fin antennas further enhance the visibility and stability of the vehicle.

Powerful and smooth performance:

The vehicle is powered by a 2.8-litre BS6 Phase 2 diesel engine producing 150 kW and 500 Nm of torque mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. With an 80-litre fuel tank, the vehicle is highly efficient for long-distance journeys on highways, city roads and challenging roads.

Toyota's advanced four-wheel-drive system (High – H4 and Low – L4 range) tackles any terrain with ease.
