Tragic road accident in Maharashtra, family destroyed in one stroke, many lives lost
A horrific road accident in Bhandara district of Maharashtra on Thursday night turned the atmosphere of happiness into mourning. There was a massive collision between a Maruti Omni and a trailer truck carrying people returning from a wedding ceremony, in which five people died on the spot, while four others were seriously injured. The deceased also included the groom’s close relatives, uncles and aunts, causing a wave of mourning in the family.
Where did the accident happen?
According to the police, this accident happened near Adyal village of Pawni tehsil. Nine people were returning home in a Maruti Omni after attending a wedding ceremony. Suddenly the tire of the vehicle burst on the way, due to which the driver lost his balance. After losing control, the vehicle collided with the trailer truck running in front. The collision was so severe that the car was badly damaged and the people in it did not even get a chance to recover.
According to the information, the marriage of the son of Lomesh Nanhe, resident of Adyal village, was solemnized in Kondha village. After the ceremony, the family and relatives were returning home happily, but as soon as they reached Saundal village, a tragic accident happened. After the accident, there was chaos on the spot and the local people immediately started relief and rescue operations.
A total of five people including Prabhakar Chacharkar and his wife Munni Chacharkar lost their lives in this accident. At the same time, four other people have been seriously injured, including the driver. The injured were immediately admitted to Bhandara District Hospital, where their treatment is ongoing.
Case registered against truck driver
Police have registered a case against the trailer truck driver in this matter. According to the FIR, the truck driver was driving at high speed and carelessly, which is considered to be a major reason for this accident. A case has been registered against him under various sections of the Indian Justice Code (BNS) and the Motor Vehicles Act. The police is investigating the entire matter and further action is underway.
