Trains Canceled Upto July 17, Route Changes Announced
Train Cancelled: Train services disrupted due to heavy rains in various regions of the country, particularly in Mumbai, causing difficulties for commuters. In Mumbai, continuous heavy rainfall has made it challenging for people to travel to work. Trains on the Lonavala-Karjat railway section have been affected by landslides, leading to severe damage to the tracks. Central Railway has decided to cancel several trains from July 10th to July 17th due to this situation.
Trains affected include:
– Pune Ghazipur City
– Pune Hazrat Nizamuddin
– Pune-Gorakhpur
– CSMT-Gorakhpur trains
Canceled trains by the Railways are:
– CSMT-Chennai Egmore Superfast
– Dadar-Sainagar Shirdi Express
Deccan Express
– Satara-Dadar Express
– CSMT-Pune Intercity Express
Mahalaxmi Express
– Hubli-Dadar Express
– Deccan Queen
– Jodhpur-Hadapsar Express
– Indore-Daund Express
– CSMT-Hyderabad Express
Passengers are advised by the Railways to stay updated on the status of their trains to avoid inconvenience. Some trains might be rerouted through alternative paths. For checking train status and obtaining necessary information, passengers can contact the railway helpline number.
Railway Makes Many Changes
Meanwhile, The railway authority has modified the operations of multiple special trains to enhance passenger convenience and meet operational requirements. The Lalkua-Rajkot weekly special train has been prolonged, while the decision has been made to terminate several special trains running on different routes on specific dates.

These changes will impact passengers traveling through Mathura. As per the railway announcement, the Lalkua–Rajkot Weekly Special train with number 05045 will now run every Sunday from July 19 to September 27, 2026, making a total of 11 journeys. Similarly, the Rajkot – Lalkua Weekly Special train bearing number 05046 will also operate for 11 trips every Monday from July 20 to September 28.
Furthermore, some special trains have been called off due to operational requirements. For instance, one trip each of the Hazrat Nizamuddin–Dadar (04002) and Dadar–Hazrat Nizamuddin (04001) trains will be canceled on July 14 and July 16 respectively. The Pune–Hazrat Nizamuddin (01491/01492) special trains will also have one to six trips canceled on specific dates. The railway administration advises passengers to check the status of their train before commencing their journey to avoid any inconvenience.
