From Sunderkand lesson to signature campaign, Arvind Kejriwal’s nationwide campaign on Ram Mandir issue.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal has announced to run a nationwide signature campaign and organize Sundarkand recitals to protest against the incident of theft in Ram temple. He said that the aim of this campaign is to demand strict action against those accused of theft and to unite people on this issue. Arvind Kejriwal said that Sunderkand Path will be organized at JMD Tent, Japanese Park, Rohini Sector-10, Delhi at 10 am on Sunday. After this, taking the blessings of Hanuman ji, a signature campaign will be started across the country. He said that this campaign will be launched to demand strict punishment for those guilty of theft in Ram temple. The party says that this demand will be given widespread public support by collecting signatures from citizens across the country.
In his letter, Kejriwal wrote that crores of devotees had contributed in the construction of Shri Ram Temple with their small and big savings. He said that many people donated their entire life’s savings for the construction of the temple and most of the people did not even ask for the receipt because they believed that it was God’s house and there was no question of demanding an account there. Kejriwal said in the letter that the incident of theft that has now come to light has deeply hurt the faith of the devotees. He says that this is not just a matter of theft, but a matter related to the feelings and faith of crores of Ram devotees across the country. He has appealed to the Prime Minister to ensure strict and prompt action against the culprits in this case, so that people’s confidence is maintained and such incidents are not repeated in future.
AAP will run a campaign to ‘punish big sinners’
Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal said that now it is the duty of every Sanatani Hindu to come forward to demand action against those whom he has accused of alleged irregularities related to Shri Ram Temple. He said that those who will participate in this campaign will be blessed by Lord Shri Ram. Kejriwal announced that Sunderkand Path will be organized in Delhi this Sunday. Appealing to the people to participate in it in large numbers, he said that after the lesson there will be a discussion on what further steps should be taken against the alleged culprits associated with Shri Ram Temple.
He informed that a signature campaign will also be run under the campaign. In this, Ram devotees will sign a letter, which will later be sent to the Prime Minister. Kejriwal alleged that there were serious irregularities in land deals related to Shri Ram Mandir Trust. He claimed that a land worth Rs 2 crore was purchased for Rs 18 crore, the documents of which were in his possession. He said that despite these alleged allegations, till now neither any investigation has been started, nor FIR has been registered nor anyone has been arrested.
Why is the investigation not being done?
Aam Aadmi Party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal alleged that many serious questions have been raised regarding the contracts and construction works related to the construction of Shri Ram Temple, but they are not being investigated impartially. He claimed that some engineers have alleged that they were demanding 40 percent commission in construction work, yet these allegations were not investigated. Kejriwal also alleged that no investigation has been conducted so far into the alleged financial irregularities and theft of offerings related to the temple. He said that despite several incidents allegedly being recorded on CCTV cameras, no action was taken against them.
He alleged that action has been taken in the case only against some small people, while efforts are being made to protect the big people. He said that now the public will have to raise their voice and express their views on this issue in a democratic manner. In this sequence, Kejriwal announced that on July 12 (Sunday) at 10 am, Sunderkand Path will be organized at JMD Tent, Japanese Park, Sector-10, Rohini. Appealing to the devotees and Ram devotees to participate in large numbers, he said that after the recitation, a signature campaign will be started with the blessings of Hanuman ji.
Signature campaign will be run across the country
Kejriwal said that under this campaign, common citizens will be asked to sign a letter addressed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the workers will go door-to-door and contact people. Also, a large number of recitations of Hanuman Chalisa will be organized at various places in the country including Delhi. He said that the devotees will recite Hanuman Chalisa, perform aarti of Hanuman ji and Lord Shri Ram and then devoutly sign the letter prepared in the name of the Prime Minister.
