Tremendous display of ‘women’s power’ in Moradabad: Bike rally gave support to the women’s bill, received a warm welcome in the markets.

A new wave has been seen in Moradabad regarding women’s rights and their participation in politics. A grand event ‘Nari Shakti Vandan Bike Rally’ was organized here in support of women. Hundreds of women workers participated enthusiastically in this rally organized by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The main objective of this awareness rally was to make women aware of their rights and to spread information about the work being done by the Central Government in the interest of women.

Rally conch sound from BJP office The rally started with a bang from the BJP office in Moradabad. A large number of women officials, workers and supporters had started gathering in the office premises since morning. After this, the women rode on their bikes and scooters and came out on the streets of the city with full enthusiasm. The convoy moved towards the major roads of the city with saffron flags and slogans of women empowerment.

Women’s strength visible in major markets Passing through the main market, Chowk, busy Buddha Bazaar and other major roads of Moradabad, the rally remained the center of attraction for the people. As the rally progressed, the local people showered flowers at various places and welcomed the women participants. During the entire rally, women were seen raising slogans regarding equal rights and their participation in politics, due to which the atmosphere of the city was completely colored in the colors of women power.

Gratitude to PM Modi and importance of women’s bill The women activists participating in the rally clearly said that the Women’s Bill being brought by the Central Government is a revolutionary step towards strengthening half of the country’s population. Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, she said that now women will be able to participate equally in the mainstream of politics, society and development. Women officials of BJP stressed that this event is not just a demonstration, but a medium to change the thinking of the society.

The rally ended in Gandhi Park Passing through various parts of the city, this huge rally culminated at Gandhi Park in Civil Lines. In a meeting organized here, women leaders expressed their views and appealed to all the women to unite and be aware of their rights. Speakers said that now is the time when women are being encouraged to move forward in every field and they should take full advantage of this opportunity.
