Iran Conflict: Heated debate between Trump and Netanyahu! Clashes over Iran issue over phone call

Trump Netanyahu Iran Conflict: The major difference of opinion between America and Israel regarding military action on Iran has now been fully exposed to the world. US President Donald Trump wants to resolve the matter through peace and diplomacy. On the other hand, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wants to start war again with Iran. Heavy political tension was witnessed during a recent phone call between the two top leaders.

In this important phone call, there was a heated debate on the topic of attacking Iran again or finding a solution through talks. Netanyahu wants to completely destroy Iran’s military capability and its critical infrastructure. According to a report, after this phone call, Netanyahu appeared very angry, restless and under great stress.

Trump postponed the decision to attack Iran

Trump recently said publicly that he has postponed the proposed military attack on Iran for the time being. America had taken this important step after the appeal by Qatar, UAE and other Arab countries to reduce tension. Along with this, a new peace proposal has also been prepared with the mediation of Pakistan and Qatar.

Trump clearly told Netanyahu that the mediator countries are preparing a letter of intent for America and Iran. Under this peace proposal, Iran’s nuclear program and opening of the Strait of Hormuz will be discussed for the next 30 days. However, Israel is becoming very suspicious of this entire diplomatic negotiation process and Iran’s intentions.

Netanyahu’s huge displeasure with Trump

A large section of the Israeli government believes that Iran is deliberately increasing its power by prolonging this entire negotiation. This is the main reason why Benjamin Netanyahu is in strong favor of starting military action immediately instead of waiting for talks. Israel clearly believes that the only true way to put international pressure on Iran is a military attack.

However, Trump has also given a strong warning that if talks are not successful, America may choose the path of war again. He has clarified that right now everything is standing on the borderline and if the right answer is not given then the situation will change rapidly. On the other hand, Iran is also adamant on taking any talks forward on the basis of its 14-point proposal.

diplomacy vs military action

In the current circumstances, it is quite clear that America and Israel do not currently agree on a single opinion on the issue of Iran. On one hand, the US administration wants to give a chance to peace by making diplomatic efforts its first priority. On the other hand, Israel believes that only weapons and attacks will be useful to stop Iran’s dangerous intentions.
