TVK Chief Vijay will become the CM of Tamil Nadu today, oath ceremony will be held at 10 am

Tezzbuzz Desk- A new chapter is going to be added in the politics of Tamil Nadu today. Tamil Nadu Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) chief and popular actor C. Joseph Vijay will take oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu at 10 am today. Many national and regional leaders will attend this grand ceremony to be held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai. Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has also been confirmed to be present in the programme.

Vijay met Governor RN Ravi on Saturday and staked claim to form the government. During this, he also handed over letters of support from allies and claimed to have majority.

Political developments gained momentum when Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) officially announced its support to TVK. Party chief Thol. Thirumavalavan submitted the letter of support to the TVK leadership, after which the path to Vijay’s government formation was almost completely cleared.

TVK had already received support from parties like Congress, CPI and CPM. After coming together with VCK, the alliance is claimed to have the support of a total of 121 MLAs, which is more than the majority required to form the government.

There is an atmosphere of celebration among Vijay supporters and TVK workers across the state. In many cities including Chennai, party supporters are expressing their happiness through posters, banners and rallies.

Political analysts believe that the closeness of TVK and VCK is not limited to power only. The similar thinking of both the parties on issues like social justice, Dalit rights and public interest has strengthened this alliance.

The support of VCK, which has a strong hold in the Dalit and Bahujan communities, is considered very important for Vijay. Due to this, there is a possibility of new social equations being formed in the politics of Tamil Nadu.

Vijay, who has the identity of a superstar in the film world, is now going to play a new role on the political stage. His party TVK has established a strong presence in state politics in a short period of time. With the swearing in of the post of Chief Minister, Vijay’s political journey will enter a new phase.
