TVS Apache RR 200 MiniGP launched, new track race bike introduced for young riders

TVS Apache RR 200 MiniGP launched— TVS Apache RR 200 MiniGP has been introduced for young riders. This motorcycle is designed to be driven only on the race track. It will not be allowed to run on public roads. The company has used a specially tuned version of the Apache RTR 200 4V engine, which has been designed with a new frame and racing chassis.

New platform designed for track racing

The Apache RR 200 MiniGP has been specifically developed for young riders who want to experience professional motorsport at the entry level. The frame and chassis of the bike has been developed differently from the road-going Apache RTR 200 4V to provide better control, stability and cornering performance on the track.

197.5cc engine, but more power

This bike has a 197.5cc air/oil-cooled single-cylinder engine. Although its base is the Apache RTR 200 4V engine, it has been tuned as per racing requirements.

Fuel supply is provided through 300mm semi flat-slide carburettor.
Conical free-flow air filter provides superior airflow.
Free-flow exhaust system helps in increasing the performance of the engine.
Maximum power has increased from 20.8hp to 23hp.

This bike will not run on the road

The TVS Apache RR 200 MiniGP is not designed to be driven on the road. Many changes have been made in it keeping track racing in mind. Therefore, it can be used only during race track and motorsport training.
