Kawasaki Ninja 300 model launched in 2027, powerful entry with twin-cylinder engine, know the price and features
Kawasaki Ninja 300: Kawasaki has officially launched the 2027 model of its iconic sports bike Ninja 300 in the Indian two-wheeler market. The company has fixed its ex-showroom price at Rs 3.34 lakh. This much awaited bike in the segment below 350cc is once again ready to strengthen its hold in the market with its special style.
Why is this bike different in the segment?
Today, there are bikes from big companies like KTM, TVS, Hero and Aprilia in the 300cc to 350cc segment, but they mostly come with single-cylinder engine option. Earlier, bikes like Yamaha R3 and Benelli 302R were also included in this race, which are not currently available for sale in the Indian market. In such a situation, Kawasaki Ninja 300 remains the only parallel-twin (twin-cylinder) engine sports bike in this budget and capacity, which makes it completely different from its competitors.

What’s new in the 2027 model?
If you were expecting a major makeover in this new model, you might be a little disappointed. Kawasaki has not made any major changes to the basic structure of the bike.
new tire patternThis time the main update can be seen in the new tire thread/pattern given to improve the grip and riding feel of the bike.
Change in color option: The 2027 Ninja 300 is offered in only one signature ‘Lime Green’ shade. White and blue stripes are visible from its fairing to the tail section. Also, Ninja and 300 branding is given on the fairing.
old shed closed: The company has discontinued the ‘Candy Lime Green / Ebony’ color available in the previous variants.
Although customers were expecting some new color options, Kawasaki has stuck to its classic look.
Powerful engine and performance
In terms of engine, the bike has retained the same reliable and old setup:
engine: 296cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine.
power output: Maximum power of 39 PS and peak torque of 26.1 Nm.
gearbox: 6-Speed Gearbox with Assist & Slipper Clutch Technology, which avoids wheel lock during aggressive downshifting.
Hardware and modern features (Kawasaki Ninja 300)
Kawasaki Ninja 300 is known for its aerodynamic design and diamond frame chassis. It has dual-channel ABS, disc brakes on both wheels, telescopic forks at the front and monoshock suspension at the rear. Dual-projector LED headlights have been provided in front for illumination.
However, this bike seems to be a little behind in terms of modern features. While other bikes in this price range have TFT color display, Bluetooth connectivity and fully LED indicators, the Ninja 300 still has an analog-digital instrument cluster and halogen turn indicators.
Purchasing Decision: Who is this bike for?
If your priority is a super-smooth engine refinement, powerful twin-cylinder sound and a tried-and-true sports bike ride, then the Ninja 300 remains the best option in this budget. However, if your priority is cutting-edge technology, a touchscreen console and a host of electronic riding aids, there are other single-cylinder options in the market.
