Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna’s son Aarav Kumar and their daughter Nitara have largely stayed away from the limelight. Although Aarav is seen hanging out with Orry and Kajol’s daughter Nysa, most of the time, Aarav is not papped like many other star kids.
On Thursday, Aarav and Nitara made a rare public appearance with their mother, Twinkle Khanna.
As soon as the photos and videos of Aarav and Nitara at the airport went viral, netizens couldn’t stop gushing over the star kids. Many praised Aarav’s looks and said he looks a lot like his dad Akshay Kumar in his younger days, while Nitara is her mom’s doppelganger.
Twinkle waved at the paps and greeted them, while Aarav and Nitara walked past the paparazzi.
Twinkle opted for a casual airport look, wearing a blue-and-white striped shirt with distressed blue jeans and white sneakers.
Nitara was seen in an all-white outfit, pairing a white sweatshirt with matching track pants and sneakers. Aarav was seen walking alongside them in a casual look comprising a dark jacket over a white T-shirt, blue jeans and dark shoes.
He also carried a brown sling bag across his shoulder.

Fans also praised the way Twinkle and Akshay Kumar have raised their children away from excessive media attention. One social-media user wrote that the family had brought up the children well and described them as humble and not seeking attention.
One fan commented, “He looks so much like his nana Rajesh Khanna.” Another echoed the sentiment, saying that Aarav looked very similar to the legendary actor.
Twinkle Khanna and Akshay Kumar’s family
Aarav is the elder child of Akshay and Twinkle. He was born in 2002, while the couple’s daughter Nitara was born in 2012.
Talking about Akshay and Twinkle’s relationship, the two began dating in the late 1990s. They first met during a magazine photoshoot in Mumbai, following which Akshay developed a liking for Twinkle. They later worked together in International Playersduring which their relationship reportedly grew closer.
Akshay proposed to Twinkle in 2000, around the release of her film Mela. The couple eventually tied the knot on January 17, 2001, in an intimate ceremony attended by around 50 people. They welcomed their first child, son Aarav, in 2002, and became parents to daughter Nitara a decade later, in 2012.
