Twisha Sharma death case: Giribala Singh arrested by CBI, action taken after long interrogation
Bhopal. The CBI, which is investigating the suspicious death of Twisha Sharma in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, has taken major action on Thursday. CBI has arrested former judge Giribala Singh after interrogation. It is being told that this action has been taken after a long interrogation of about six hours. In fact, a day earlier the Madhya Pradesh High Court had canceled the anticipatory bail plea of Giribala Singh.

It is being told that the investigating agency had detained him on charges of destroying and hiding evidence. Before his arrest, the CBI interrogated him for more than six hours, in which two eyewitnesses were also questioned. At the same time, now after the arrest of Giribala, his medical test will be conducted.
Let us tell you that Twisha Sharma died under suspicious circumstances at her in-laws house in Bhopal on May 12. Twisha was married to Samarth Singh on 9 December 2025. Many things came to light after this incident, after which Twisha’s family members made serious allegations. Along with this, demanded that the matter be investigated by CBI. CBI had taken over the investigation into Twisha Sharma’s death last Monday. After taking over the case, CBI has again filed an FIR, naming Samarth Singh and Giribala Singh as accused. At the same time, now Giribala Singh has been arrested by the agency after interrogation.
