Two masked men fired 15 rounds outside a cafe in Delhi, two injured, eyewitness narrated the entire incident.

New Delhi. Two masked men riding a scooter allegedly opened fire outside a cafe near Karkardooma Community Center in East Delhi. Two people were injured in this firing. Police gave this information on Friday. According to police, the attackers fired about 15 bullets and both victims were hit.

Injured Mohammad Irshad told that he and the other victim had come out of the cafe at around 1.30 in the night. Then two masked people who came on a scooter opened fire on them. Irshad said that I tried to run away, but a bullet hit me. He said that the attackers fired about 15 bullets. After Irshad was shot, his father first took him to Hedgewar Hospital, from where he was sent to GTB Hospital for further treatment. Irshad's father Mohammad Asir said that I do not know what happened. I came to know when he called and said, 'Papa, I have been shot.' I took him to Hedgewar Hospital, from where he was referred to GTB.

Police said that the second injured officer is a resident of Ghaziabad and he was hit by four bullets. At the same time, Irshad, a resident of Old Seelampur, was also injured in the firing. Police had received information that two injured were admitted to Hedgewar Hospital. Police said that both of them were shot, but their condition is stable.

A case has been registered in this matter at Anand Vihar Police Station. Police are making efforts to identify and arrest the attackers. Police said that the reason behind the firing is not yet known. CCTV footage of the area is being examined to confirm the incident and identify the accused.
