Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary handed over the appointment letters for the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) to both the players today, Friday, July 24. In a grand program organized at the Urja Auditorium in the capital Patna, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary handed over appointment letters to Team India’s star players Akash Deep and Mukesh Kumar under the ‘Bring Medal, Get a Job’ scheme. During this, both the players touched the feet of the CM and blessed him, the pictures of which are becoming increasingly viral on social media.

In the program of the Sports Department organized at Urja Auditorium, Patna, under the ‘Bring Medal, Get a Job’ scheme, appointment letters and selection letters for sports scholarships were given to the players who performed excellently at the international and national level.

19 players got appointment letters

A total of 19 players along with Indian cricketers Akash Deep and Mukesh Kumar were handed appointment letters for government jobs. Apart from athlete Piyush Raj, five para players along with players from different sports categories were also included. Along with this, during this ceremony, Bihar CM has also awarded sports scholarship selection letters and honorarium to these players along with appointment letters.

According to the Bihar government, so far this year a total of 106 players have been appointed to different government posts.

Akash Deep-Mukesh hoping to make a comeback

Indian cricketers Akash Deep and Mukesh Kumar are out of Team India these days. In such a situation, both the players are eyeing their return to the team. Both the players were seen playing on the field during IPL 2026. However, Akash Deep was out due to injury in the middle of the season. Akash Deep has played 10 test matches for India so far, in which he took 28 wickets. At the same time, Mukesh Kumar played 3 test matches for India, in which he took 7 wickets.
