Ingredients to make Arabic Kebab

  • 500 grams arbi
  • 1/4 cup buckwheat flour
  • two spoons finely chopped ginger
  • finely chopped green chillies
  • finely chopped coriander
  • fasting salt and
  • Ghee for frying kebabs

How to make Arabic Kebab

  • To make arbi or ghuiyan kebabs, first wash the arbi thoroughly. After this, add water to the arbi in the cooker and boil it. Boil it till it becomes soft.
  • Then take out the arbi from the cooker and cool it. Now peel the colocasia. Mash the peeled colocasia or you can also grate it.
  • Now mix buckwheat flour with mashed arbi in a small bowl. Along with this, mix all these ingredients like chopped ginger, chopped chilli, coriander and salt as per taste.
  • Knead this mixture well. Then make small balls of this mixture. You can give this dough the desired shape by pressing it lightly. If you want, give it the shape of kebab or make oval tikkis.
  • Now heat a non-stick pan. Add some desi ghee in it. Then place the Arabi kebab on medium flame and fry it well. Cook the kebab until it turns light golden. You can eat it with chutney or curd.
