Bahria police station has achieved significant success by arresting two warranty accused who were absconding for a long time. This action was taken on the instructions of the Police Commissioner as part of the ongoing campaign against crime and criminals.

According to the police, in the case number 126/2020 registered in the year 2020 in Police Station Bahria, a non-bailable warrant (NBW) was issued from the court for the arrest of two wanted accused who were absconding for many years. After this the police was continuously searching for him.

On Friday, on the information of the informer, the Bahria police station surrounded Ramgarh Kothari Canal Pulia area and arrested both the accused. The arrested accused were identified as Abdul Wahid son of Mehboob (49 years) and Mohd. Sebu aka Mohd. Wajid son of Abdul Wahid (24 years) resident of village Banevra, police station Bahria, district Prayagraj.

Police said that a case has been registered against both the accused in Bahria police station under sections 147, 148, 149, 452, 323, 325, 504, 506 and 436 of the Indian Penal Code. After the arrest, necessary legal action is being taken against him.

This action was carried out under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner of Police Ganganagar, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Ganganagar and Assistant Commissioner of Police Phulpur under the leadership of station in-charge Manvendra Kumar Singh. The arrest team included Sub Inspector Amit Kumar Singh, Sub Inspector Chandan Yadav, Head Constable Ramchandra Verma, Constable Raish Ahmed and Constable Shivam Dubey.
