The demand for electric vehicles is increasing rapidly in the Indian two-wheeler market. To strengthen its presence in this segment, vehicle manufacturing company Ultraviolette has introduced its new electric adventure bike Ultraviolette X47 in the market. This motorcycle comes with high-tech features, a powerful 10.7 kWh battery pack and a single-charge range of up to 323 kilometers.
First bike in the segment to get ADAS technology
Ultraviolette X47 has become the first electric bike in its segment to be provided with ADAS technology (UV Hypersense). Keeping the safety of the rider in mind, the bike has safety parameters like 150-degree front view, 68-degree rear vertical vision and tracking range of 200 meters.
Many modern features have been added to it for security:
- Rear Collision Warning
- Lane Change Assist and Overtake Alert
- Dual-channel ABS and 4-level traction control
- 9-level regenerative braking and dynamic stability control
- Tow Alert (alert if bike is stolen or towed)
Apart from this, the rider has been given two digital screens on the dashboard of the bike, which clearly shows navigation and ride data.
Battery, Motor Power and Speed
Talking about power and performance, this adventure bike has an air-cooled battery pack of 10.7 kWh capacity. To keep the battery safe, the company has provided safety features like surge protection and earth leakage protection. A 1.6 kW onboard charger is available with the bike.

Price and Variants
The starting ex-showroom price of the base model of Ultraviolette X47 in the Indian market has been kept at Rs 2.49 lakh. At the same time, customers can buy its top-end variant at a price of Rs 4.59 lakh (ex-showroom).
