Record made by combining two World Cups
Simon has achieved this record by combining two World Cups. In the 2026 World Cup, he kept a clean sheet for a total of 360 minutes against Cape Verde, Saudi Arabia, Uruguay and Austria. Earlier also in the Qatar World Cup held in 2022, he had not conceded any goal for 159 minutes.
The previous record of 518 minutes by Italy’s Walter Zenga has stood since 1990.
