Under the series of 100 new Aam Aadmi Clinics, 10 new Aam Aadmi Clinics were inaugurated in the district today.
Jalandhar- On the occasion, Punjab Horticulture, Freedom Fighters and Defense Services Welfare Minister Mohinder Bhagat inaugurated three new Aam Aadmi Clinics at Siddharth Nagar, Bhargo Nagar and Sports and Surgical Complex in the city. During his speech, the Cabinet Minister said that the opening of these new clinics will further strengthen the health services in the district. He said that the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is continuously making serious efforts to provide better health facilities to every section of the state and the expansion of Aam Aadmi Clinic is an important step in this direction, which is providing great relief to the poor and middle class families.
He said that 75 Aam Aadmi Clinics in the district are already providing free and good health services to the people and today with the opening of 10 more Aam Aadmi Clinics, their number has increased to 85. Similarly, Kartarpur Assembly MLA Balkar Singh inaugurated the Aam Aadmi Clinic at Sarai Khas. He said that Aam Aadmi Clinics are a sign of health revolution, where common people are getting free and good health services near their homes. Apart from this, Aam Aadmi Clinics were also started in villages Lasara, Nangal, Salempur, Gadaipur, Lamma Pind and Polytechnic College.
