Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana, speaking on Tuesday’s proceedings, apologized if he had caused any discomfort. He noted that this was the last session of his life. He stated that for the past four years, he had been working to improve the image of the House. He already felt pained by this. The opposition’s job is to raise issues, and the government’s job is to listen. He added that opposition members had previously appeared on bail, but they would leave after speaking. For the past four years, he has striven to maintain the dignity of the Assembly. He emphasized that doctors and engineers should be elected to the House. Respecting the Chief Minister of the state is our responsibility. Respect should transcend party lines, but what happened yesterday saddened and disappointed him.
Satish Mahana said that it was the last session of his political life. Not only this, Satish Mahana again stressed that I am in the last phase of my political life. My appeal is to rise above the party and think and understand what we are giving to the coming generation? Satish Mahana said that despite my refusal yesterday, photos of the proceedings of the House were taken and posted on social media. Posting the video is not right. Akhilesh Yadav was the CM, two members of the Vidhan Sabha had taken off their clothes, then I had said at that very moment that all 403 members had taken off their clothes that day.
