Lucknow, Read. The scope of investigation has increased after Uttar Pradesh connection has come to light in the case of firing on the car of Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff in Juhu area of Mumbai. In the police investigation, the names of Babita of Azamgarh and Radha of Sitapur have emerged. It is alleged that both of them played a role in delivering pistols and cartridges to the shooters who opened fire. According to the investigating agencies, the weapons were taken to Mumbai via train. There is also an allegation that both of them were given Rs 10 to 12 thousand for this work.
The most shocking aspect in this case is the claim of Babita's family. According to Babita's family members, she was taken to Mumbai on the pretext of visiting the temple. The family says that Babita was used to deliver weapons. However, this is the family's side. Only in the police investigation will it become clear how much knowledge he had about weapons and what was his role in this entire network.
There was firing on Tiger Shroff's car on October 18.
According to the information, on the evening of October 18, actor Tiger Shroff was returning after playing football in Juhu area of Mumbai. Meanwhile, three people riding a bike opened fire on his car. Tiger Shroff remained safe in the incident, while his driver was reported to have been shot. It was told that the actor had taken the injured driver to the hospital.
After the incident, Mumbai Police started investigation and intensified the search for the attackers. As the investigation progressed, the matter moved beyond Mumbai to other states. The police is now busy in connecting the links of the people involved in the firing as well as the network supplying weapons.
After arrest from Kota, investigation reached UP
In this case, on Monday the police arrested Hrithik from Bihar and Rehan and Phool Singh from Haryana from Kota. After this, on Tuesday, Delhi Police caught Kunal and Sumit, residents of Sonipat, Haryana along with Babita of Azamgarh and Radha of Sitapur.
Investigating agencies suspect that Babita and Radha helped in delivering weapons and cartridges to the shooters. Police are trying to find out who provided the weapons, who entrusted this responsibility to both of them and what was their role in the conspiracy of firing.
Who is Babita of Azamgarh? The family told the whole story
Babita of Azamgarh is a resident of Kothiyar village of Tehbarpur police station area. According to his sister Neelam, his younger brother Deepak received a call from Delhi Police at around 11 am on Tuesday morning. The caller told that Babita and her friend have been caught and weapons have been recovered from their bags.
Neelam claims that Radha of Sitapur had taken Babita to Mumbai on the pretext of visiting the temple. The family says that Babita was not aware for what purpose she was being used. However, this claim has not been independently confirmed without a police investigation.
Babita's father Ramjatan Ram works as a laborer along with farming. According to him, Rajnath, a resident of the village, used to do packing work with his wife Pooja in Sonipat, Haryana. When he came to the village about two years ago, he had talked about getting work in a factory and earning Rs 10 to 12 thousand. After this Babita went to Sonipat with her cousin sister.
After a few months, Rajnath and Pooja returned to the village, but Babita stayed there and started working. During this time he became friends with Radha of Sitapur. Babita has studied till graduation. She is the youngest of three sisters. Both his elder sisters are married and he has two brothers.
How did Babita connect with Radha of Sitapur?
Radha of Sitapur is a resident of Nahvaiya village of Misrikh police station area. After the arrest, the police reached his house and interrogated his family. It was revealed that Radha was married to Sunil in the year 2015, but later both of them separated.
According to Sunil, after two-three years of marriage, Radha had gone away with her one year old son. They claim that Radha went to Dadurpur in Kanpur with her cousin brother and later reached Mumbai. She used to do small jobs there.
It was told that Radha met Kunal in Mumbai itself. According to the police, Kunal is a resident of Sonipat, Haryana. He has studied till tenth standard and used to work in a hotel. He was acquainted with Radha. Earlier too, information about Kunal going to jail in a case has come to light.
Both the girls lived together in Bahalgarh
According to details related to the investigation, Babita and Radha lived together on rent in Bahalgarh, Haryana. The agencies suspect that during this time both of them came in contact with the arms supply network. Police are now trying to find out from where both of them got the weapons, who took them by train to Mumbai and who paid for delivering the weapons to the shooters. Along with this, it is also being investigated whether both of them were aware of the conspiracy of firing or their role was limited only to delivering weapons.
Search for arms supply network
The police investigation into the firing on Tiger Shroff's car is no longer limited to just the alleged attackers. The investigating agencies are trying to identify the people involved in the purchase, transportation, delivery and conspiracy of weapons.
After the names of two girls from Azamgarh and Sitapur came to light, the investigation into the possible network connected from Uttar Pradesh to Mumbai has intensified. On one hand, Babita's family is claiming her innocence and taking her to Mumbai on the pretext of visiting the temple, while the police is investigating her and Radha's role. At present, it is not clear who was behind the conspiracy of supply of weapons and firing in this case.
