A video of Auraiya of Uttar Pradesh is becoming increasingly viral on social media. In it, a woman is shown attacking a black Scorpio with an iron rod and breaking its windows.
It is being told that this incident happened near Jalaun intersection of Auraiya Sadar Kotwali area. In the video, the woman is seen standing next to the SUV and repeatedly hitting its windows. Within a few moments many windows of the Scorpio get broken.
Who is the woman seen in the viral video?
The woman has been identified as Kumkum Devi, a resident of Devanpur in Kanpur Dehat. According to her complaint, she was going to Delhi with her husband Pawan Singh. It is said that after reaching Auraiya, his journey took a dramatic turn. Kumkum Devi alleged that a black Scorpio overtook her car. He claimed that the Scorpio driver abused him while overtaking. In his complaint, he also mentioned the registration number of Scorpio, UP 79 AE 8982.
Controversy broke out near Jalaun intersection
According to the woman’s statement, she managed to overtake the Scorpio. However, he alleged that after some distance the same vehicle again overtook him and stopped in front of his vehicle. According to reports, after this the dispute escalated near Jalaun intersection. Kumkum Devi alleged that when she asked the people traveling in the Scorpio about the alleged misbehavior, they behaved rudely with her. She also accused him of abusing and assaulting her.
The woman also alleged that she was threatened with death. It is said that after the argument turned into a violent clash, people present at the spot intervened. According to his complaint, the occupants of the Scorpio eventually abandoned the vehicle and fled from the spot.
Windows of Scorpio car broken with rod
In the viral video, Kumkum Devi is seen standing near Scorpio holding an iron rod. She repeatedly hits the windows of the car. Police registered a case
Following Kumkum Devi’s complaint, Auraiya Sadar Kotwali police registered a case against the people traveling in the Scorpio. His complaint includes allegations of road blockage, abuse, assault and death threats. The registration number of the vehicle has also been mentioned in the complaint. Police are now taking further legal action in this matter.
