CM Yogi will make a grand debut in Gorakhpur

To officially seal this great news, a grand program is being organized in Gorakhpur on 5th May. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself will formally launch the new initiative during this state level program to be organized at Baba Gambhirnath Auditorium. The most important thing is that on the same day, parallel programs will be organized in all other districts of UP, so that Shikshamitras from the entire state can be a direct part of this historic celebration.

After this big decision of the government, now the financial tension of Shikshamitras posted in council primary schools has completely ended. Under the new system, he is now being given an honorarium of ₹ 18,000 every month. These increased rates have been considered effective from April 1, 2026, that is, Shikshamitras have started getting its benefits. Those who benefited from this big decision include 13,597 Shiksha Mitras of the Basic Education Department and 1,29,332 Shiksha Mitras working under Samagra Shiksha.

The Uttar Pradesh government clearly believes that this increase in honorarium will not only lead to a big improvement in the financial condition of Shikshamitras, but their morale will also reach sky high.
