UP Teacher News: Another strict order for government teachers of UP
A very big and important news is coming for the teachers and employees teaching in government schools of Uttar Pradesh. Many big and important recruitment examinations are going to be organized in the state during the months of June and July. On the instructions of Yogi Government, the Secondary Education Department has taken a big step to conduct these examinations in a completely transparent and peaceful manner. Under the new order, now all teachers and non-teaching staff of secondary schools have been completely banned from leaving the district headquarters during this period of examinations.
Regarding this strict decision, District School Inspectors (DIOS) of many districts of Uttar Pradesh have also started issuing official orders at their respective levels. There has been a stir in the education department since this order.
Will not be allowed to leave the district even during summer holidays
According to the new guidelines issued by the department, all teachers associated with basic and secondary education, principals and non-teaching staff of schools will not be able to leave the district of their own free will even during summer vacations. It is clearly stated in the order that even if an employee has to go out of the district in extreme emergency or urgent circumstances, then for this he will first have to take written approval from his respective District Inspector of Schools (DIOS). Leaving the district without written permission will be considered indiscipline.
These big exams are going to be held in June and July
More than half a dozen major competitive examinations are proposed in Uttar Pradesh in the months of June and July. For the successful and safe conduct of these examinations, teachers of government schools have to be engaged on a large scale in the duties of room inspectors (invigilators) and other important administrative responsibilities.
If we look at the schedule of examinations, it has been decided to organize Lekhpal Main Examination on 21st May, Civil Services Preliminary Examination on 24th May and B.Ed Entrance Examination on 31st May in the state. Immediately after this, in the month of June, Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) examination will be conducted on June 3 to 4, Police Recruitment Examination from June 8 to 10 and GIC Spokesperson Recruitment Examination on June 14. At the same time, Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) is proposed to be organized from July 2 to 4.
Strict departmental action will be taken if you leave the district without permission
Director of Secondary Education, Dr. Mahendra Dev, taking a strict stance on this entire matter, said that in view of the sensitivity of the examinations, it is mandatory for everyone to be present at the headquarters. He has given a clear warning that if any teacher, principal or employee is found leaving the district headquarters without prior permission, strict departmental and disciplinary action will be taken against him with immediate effect. He also clarified that it will be legally mandatory to inform all concerned officers and employees in writing much before going on any trip.
