UP Weather Update: ‘The End’ of summer in UP, storm and rain in 40 districts, Meteorological Department issued alert
Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, the heat of the sun and deadly heat wave had made life difficult for the people for the last several days. In many cities the mercury had reached 45 to 47 degrees Celsius, due to which it seemed as if fire was raining from the sky. But now there is a relief news for the people of UP. The Meteorological Department has predicted that stormy weather is about to enter the state, which will provide great relief from the scorching heat.
Winds will blow at a speed of 60 KM, trees may break
According to the latest estimates of the Meteorological Department, the weather is going to change suddenly in more than 40 districts of Uttar Pradesh. There are chances of strong storm and dusty winds in these areas in the coming hours. It is being told that the normal speed of wind will be 40 to 50 kilometers per hour, but at some places the wind gusts can reach the speed of 60 kilometers per hour. During this period, there is a danger of trees falling and electric poles being uprooted, which may affect life.
Effect of lightning and rain will be visible in these districts
Movement of clouds has started in the central, eastern and western parts of the state. Special warnings have been issued for districts like Banda, Chitrakoot, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Varanasi, Kanpur, Agra and Jhansi. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with dust storm here. There will be a drop in mercury due to rain accompanied by thunder and lightning.
Meteorological Department’s warning: Yellow alert issued
In view of the rapidly changing weather, the department has issued a ‘Yellow Alert’. This simply means that the weather is not very dangerous, but people need to be careful. The department has advised that in view of the possibility of thunder and lightning, people should stay in safe places and not take shelter under trees or electric poles. This change will definitely provide relief to the people suffering from the scorching heat.
