UP’s daughters did wonders, created history by becoming winners for the sixth consecutive time in Tennis Ball Cricket Championship
Ayodhya, Read: Uttar Pradesh Girls won the All India Tennis Ball Cricket Championship held from May 1 to May 3 in Haridwar by defeating Tamil Nadu and captured the title. Uttar Pradesh girls team has created history by becoming winners for the sixth consecutive time. Eight players from Ayodhya who were part of the Uttar Pradesh team played an important role in the team becoming the winner. In the championship, Muskaan Jaiswal of Ayodhya of Uttar Pradesh team was the best batsman and Rishika Tiwari was the best bowler.
In the competition, the Uttar Pradesh team defeated Jammu-Kashmir, Tamil Nadu and Bihar, defeated Puducherry in the quarter-finals and entered the finals by winning over the AIIB team in the semi-finals. The Uttar Pradesh team faced Tamil Nadu in the final.
UP team scored 95 runs after losing two wickets, thanks to Muskan’s 35 runs, Rishika’s 25 runs and Divyanee Singh’s 20 runs. In reply, Tamil Nadu team was reduced to 60 runs. Rishika of Uttar Pradesh took a hat-trick wicket in the very first over. Uttar Pradesh girls team got the honor of becoming the winner for the sixth consecutive time.
