UPSSSC Recruitment 2026: Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the notification for recruitment to 170 posts of Vidhan Bhavan Guard and Fireman. This recruitment is being conducted in Uttar Pradesh and its objective is to fill the vacant posts in the Secretariat Administration Department. The application process will start from June 9, 2026 and will continue till June 29, 2026. Candidates having 12th pass and PET-2025 score will be able to apply. The selection process will include written examination and physical test.

Opportunity for 170 posts in UPSSSC Recruitment 2026

Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has issued a notification for the recruitment of a total of 170 posts of Vidhan Bhawan Guard and Fireman. In this recruitment, 120 posts have been fixed for Vidhan Bhavan Guard and 50 posts for Fireman.

The application process will start from 9th June 2026 and will continue till 29th June 2026. Interested candidates will be able to apply online through the official website. This recruitment is being done under the Secretariat Administration Department.

Qualification and age limit information

For this recruitment, it has been made mandatory for the candidate to have passed 12th. Also, only those candidates can apply who have a valid scorecard of PET-2025.

The age limit has been fixed as 18 to 40 years as on 1st July 2026. Reserved category candidates will also be given age relaxation as per government rules.

Selection Process and Physical Standards

The selection process in UPSSSC recruitment will be completed in three stages. First shortlisting will be done on the basis of PET-2025 score, after which a written examination of 100 marks will be conducted.

The written examination will include questions related to General Knowledge, Hindi and Uttar Pradesh. In the final stage, Physical Efficiency and Physical Standard Test (PET/PST) will be taken.
