UPSSSC OTR Registration : Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has started free One Time Registration (OTR) facility for the candidates from 14th July 2026. According to the Commission, OTR number will be mandatory to apply for future PET and main examinations.
OTP verification of e-mail will be necessary
Candidates can do fresh registration or can also complete their process through PET-2025 registration number. OTP verification of mobile number and e-mail will be required during registration. Also, name, parents’ name, date of birth, address and high school educational information will have to be entered. A color photograph of recent six months and signature in the prescribed format will also have to be uploaded.
The Commission has clarified that after the release of the OTR number, no amendment can be made in it, hence the candidates will have to fill all the information carefully.
Promote fairness and technical efficiency
The biggest advantage of the new system will be that while applying in future, the information of the candidates will be auto-filled and there will be no need to fill the details every time. Additionally, under the current two-tier examination system, the PET score will remain valid for three years and candidates who have more than one valid PET score will be able to use their highest score at the time of application. The Commission says that this entire system is free and will promote transparency, fairness and technical efficiency in the recruitment process.
