US-Iran War latest update: Tehran retaliates; Bahrain and Kuwait under attack
New Delhi: West Asian countries, Bahrain and Kuwait were under attack early morning on Wednesday as a retaliation of Tehran over US strikes targeting it and the reimposed blockade.
Bahrain heard missile alert siren, while Kuwait’s military claimed that its air forces were trying to shoot down incoming missiles and drones.
Both countries host US military forces and have been repeatedly targeted by Iran as tensions have increased over the Strait of Hormuz.
Prez Trump on Strait of Hormuz
In the meantime, US President Donald Trump backtracked on his threat to heavily tax ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, he warned he would expand US strikes on Iran next week to target power plants and bridges if Tehran does not agree to a deal.
Seven-hour strike by US forces
US forces carried out a seven-hour strike against the Iran’s military targets near the Strait of Hormuz and along Iran’s coast hours after resuming a naval blockade of vessels traveling to and from Iranian ports, the US Central Command said.

CENTCOM said US forces resumed the naval blockade against vessels transiting to and from Iranian ports and coastal areas today at 4 pm ET. There are currently more than 20 US Navy warships and hundreds of military aircraft operating across the Middle East. American forces remain.
The strikes were intended to further weaken Iran’s ability to threaten commercial shipping and civilian crews, according to the command.
