Uttarakhand: Teachers are relying on wrong facts to remain in job and get promotion.
Teachers in the state are preparing to take CTET on the basis of wrong facts to remain in the job and for promotion. The department is giving permission to such teachers to appear in the CTET-I examination. Due to this, the appointment of teachers can get entangled in legal complications.
The Supreme Court has ordered all serving teachers to mandatorily qualify the TET exam by August 31, 2028, to continue in service. After this order, a large number of teachers are taking permission from the teachers department to appear in the CTET first examination. Who are applying online for the examination on the CBSE Board portal after taking permission from the department.
Surprisingly, for CTET I, two-year diploma or four-year B.El.Ed degree is mandatory but the teachers appointed before August 23, 2010 are B.Ed, who are showing themselves to be D.El.Ed to appear in the examination. Due to which the difficulties of such teachers may increase. This type of fraud has also taken place in the teacher recruitment held in the Education Department in 2016. In which some B.Ed passed candidates got appointment in the department on the basis of CTET certificate after showing themselves as D.El.Ed in the portal.
