Tourist Rafting Operators Fight : A shocking video from Tehri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand is becoming increasingly viral on social media. In the video, a fierce fight is seen between tourists and rafting operators during rafting.

It is being told that this dispute started over photography and videography, which soon turned into a violent clash. In the viral video, many people are seen attacking each other with rafting paddles. The incident has raised questions regarding the safety of tourists and arrangements at tourist places.

According to police officials, this incident is said to be about a week old. However, at that time neither party had filed any formal complaint with the police. But as soon as the video of the incident went viral on social media, Tehri police took suo motu cognizance and started investigating the matter.

During investigation, police identified four people involved in the clash and took action against them under Section 81 of the Uttarakhand Police Act. This section deals with disorderly and inappropriate behavior in public places. Apart from this, written apology has also been taken from the concerned people.

Police said- safety and respect of tourists is priority

Police say that the safety and respect of tourists is their top priority. Officials have clearly warned that strict action will be taken against those who violate law and order at tourist places or misbehave with tourists.

It is noteworthy that from time to time there have been reports of disputes between tourists and rafting operators from Rishikesh and surrounding rafting areas. Due to such cases, there is a possibility that the tourism image of the state will be affected. The police have appealed to all concerned to behave with responsibility and restraint.
