The facility of vaccination of children is also available on Sundays at the Model Vaccination Center of Moradabad, District Women Hospital.
Moradabad :- Achievement and workshop on vaccination programs in the district was organized in the auditorium of District Health Committee, Moradabad. The aim of the workshop was to educate about the quality, safe and convenient vaccination services run by the Health Department for children, pregnant women and adolescent girls. Besides, free HPV vaccine is being administered in the District Women’s Hospital to protect girls who have completed 14 years of age and below 15 years of age from cervical cancer. Those parents who got their vaccinations completed on time were also honoured.

On the occasion of completion of one year of establishment of Adarsh Vaccination Center, a workshop was organized in the auditorium of District Women’s Hospital. On this occasion, Chief Mayor Vinod Aggarwal, District Panchayat President Dr. Shafali Singh, District Magistrate Dr. Rajendra Pesiya were present in the program. The program was presided over by Chief Medical Officer Kuldeep Singh. Adarsh Vaccination Center was established on 25 May 2025 at District Women’s Hospital, Moradabad with the technical support of Health Department and JSI. The objective of this center is to provide a better environment and all the necessary facilities at one place to the beneficiaries during vaccination. The model vaccination center has a vaccination room with modern facilities, an attractive play area for children, a high-quality cold-chain room for vaccine storage, a separate breastfeeding room for lactating mothers, and a comfortable waiting room for parents. At the same time, free HPV vaccine is being administered in the District Women’s Hospital to protect girls who have completed 14 years of age and below 15 years of age from cervical cancer. Since its establishment, 6284 children and 4040 pregnant women have been vaccinated in the Adarsh Vaccination Center located at the District Women’s Hospital. Model vaccination centers are also being operated at Primary Health Center Fakirpur and Town Hall in Moradabad district. The specialty of the Adarsh Vaccination Center located at the District Women’s Hospital is that regular vaccination services are available here seven days of the week, including Sundays. The purpose of organizing the session on Sunday is to save working parents from the need to take leave on working days and to provide vaccination to children and pregnant women at a convenient time.
