Vaibhav Suryavanshi IIM Indore Study: Young cricketer Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who made headlines with his explosive batting in IPL, is now in the news for a new reason. The country’s prestigious institute IIM Indore is going to conduct a special multi-disciplinary study on their mindset and performance management.

The objective of this study is to understand how Vaibhav Suryavanshi performed exceptionally well in cricket at the age of just 15 and what mental, social and training factors played a role behind it. According to the experts of IIM Indore, this research will try to deeply understand various aspects of human potential, talent development and mental toughness.

Experts from different fields will be involved

According to the information, this study will include experts from different fields, who will analyze how mental pressure, influence of social media and burden of expectations work on the player after initial success. The institute believes that many times talented players are unable to maintain consistency in their performance due to excessive pressure, which is also considered the “dark side” of the sports world.

Vaibhav performed brilliantly

Vaibhav Suryavanshi performed brilliantly while playing for Rajasthan Royals in this IPL season and also made the record of hitting most sixes. According to reports, he hit 72 sixes in one season, due to which he came into limelight.

Study not limited to player’s success only

Himanshu Rai, Director, IIM Indore, said that this study is not limited to the success of Vaibhav Suryavanshi, but is an attempt to understand how talent with the right guidance, family support and institutional support can translate into extraordinary results.
