Vande Bharat will run in Kashmir Valley, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav showed the green flag, know the route and time.

News India Live, Digital Desk: Indian Railways has created a new history today. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav flagged off the much awaited Jammu-Srinagar Vande Bharat Express. This train will not only connect Kashmir Valley with Jammu, but is also a milestone towards establishing direct rail connectivity with the rest of India through the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL). This train passing through the world’s highest railway bridge built on the Chenab River will be no less than a thrill for the passengers. Key Features of Jammu-Srinagar Vande Bharat Marvel of Engineering: This train will pass through challenging areas like Chenab Bridge and Anji Khad. The height of Chenab Bridge is more than the Eiffel Tower of Paris. Reduction in travel time: As compared to 5-6 hours taken by road from Jammu to Srinagar, Vande Bharat will cover this distance in about 3.5 to 4 hours. Armor Technology: For safety, this train is fitted with ‘KAVACH’ anti-collision system, which makes it safe in hilly areas. Promotion of Tourism: Large ‘Vistadome’ like From the windows, passengers will be able to see a wonderful view of the beautiful valleys, snow-clad mountains and tunnels of Kashmir. Route and Schedule Main stations: Jammu Tawi, Udhampur, Banihal, Qazigund, and Srinagar. Operation: This train is likely to run 6 days a week. Train timings: It will run from Jammu in the morning and reach Srinagar in the afternoon and will return in the evening. He told that this train has been specially designed for cold areas, with heating system and the ability to run smoothly even during snowfall. What will be special for the passengers?
