According to media reports, Hernan Alberto Gil Flores worked as a security guard in a shopping mall in La Guerra. During the earthquake, part of the parking lot of the mall collapsed and he was buried under about 29 feet deep debris. After being trapped under the debris for eight consecutive days, the rescue team was successful in pulling them out alive on Thursday.
