Taking a dig at the growing power of the Shinde faction, Sanjay Raut said that ‘Eknath Shinde has added six MPs to himself. Sharp reactions are being seen in political circles regarding his statement. This is not the first time that Raut has used aggressive language against the leaders of the opposing camp. In recent times too, controversy had arisen over some of his statements.

What did Sanjay say?

Sanjay Raut said that Shinde was ‘pregnant’ and has now ‘given birth to six MPs’. This controversial statement of the army leader is the second such statement given in the last seven days. Raut further said that Eknath Shinde was pregnant and had given birth to six MPs. This delivery took place in Nandanvan. He said this while referring to Shinde’s official residence, where several rebel MPs had gathered before formally joining the Shinde-led Shiv Sena.

In fact, the six MPs who have joined the Shinde faction were said to be dissatisfied with their role and future within the party for a long time. His absence from an important meeting of Shiv Sena (UBT) held in Delhi had further strengthened the speculations. Today 6 out of 6 MPs joined the Shinde camp.

Uddhav Thackeray’s counterattack?

On the other hand, Uddhav Thackeray also reacted to this entire incident and said that the ideology and legacy of Shiv Sena is bigger than any position or power.
