Ayodhya Ram Mandir VIP Pass: The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust in Ayodhya had suspended the Darshan pass facility following the donation theft case. The Darshan pass facility has now been reinstated. However, the responsibility for this has been assigned to other individuals. This major change has been made to ensure transparency and security in the Ram Temple.
Under this new decision, the issuance of Darshan passes has now been delegated to the Trust’s three official Chartered Accountants (CAs). Darshan passes will also be available through the IDs of these three Chartered Accountants. They will now have the authority to issue VIP and special category Darshan passes.
Unauthorized Interference to be Prevented
According to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, the new system will enable better oversight of the entire pass issuance process. It will also reduce the likelihood of any irregularities or misuse. The pass issuance process will be more streamlined and prevent unauthorized interference.
This decision was taken to ensure that the issuance of passes is not hampered following the resignation of former Ram Temple General Secretary Champat Rai and former trustee Anil Mishra. According to the Trust, technical and administrative improvements to the darshan pass system will continue. This will facilitate smooth and transparent darshan for devotees.
VIP Pass Quota
A separate quota of darshan passes has also been allocated for the district administration and police department. Approximately 1,800 darshan passes are issued daily, distributed in six different time slots. Each slot is for two hours and can accommodate approximately 300 devotees. Passes for “special” (VIP) and “sugam” (facilitated) darshan are also issued in these slots.
Following the Supreme Court’s directive, the investigation into the alleged theft of offerings at the Ram Temple has gained momentum. The investigation is progressing rapidly following the formation of a new Special Investigation Team (SIT). It is believed that the SIT may also question former trustee Anil Mishra in connection with the investigation. The police are preparing to send a notice to Anil Mishra.
During the investigation, statements from bank employees who counted the offerings at the Ram Temple have already been recorded. Now, the process of recording statements from officials associated with the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has begun.
