By then Kohli had gone far ahead and got stuck in the middle of the pitch.

But instead of panicking, Kohli stopped there and started staring at Brar with a smile, as if saying, ‘Hit the throw, let’s see!’ Brar also did not take any risk, because he knew that if the throw was missed then the overthrow runs would be lost. Brar did not want to take any unnecessary risk for the Punjab team, which has been criticized for poor fielding this season. However, in this match, Brar’s enthusiasm was also at its peak, he celebrated aggressively by taking two big wickets of Jacob Bethel and Devdutt Padikkal. Later, at the end of the 14th over, a smiling Kohli went to talk to Brar, but the Punjab spinner thought it best to move ahead without saying anything.

He was timing the ball right from the beginning, continuously hitting boundaries and managing RCB’s innings very well. However, in the end he became the victim of Yuzvendra Chahal after scoring 58 runs in 37 balls.
