Mumbai: Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag is set to host ‘Rise & Fall Season 2’, replacing entrepreneur Ashneer Grover.
The announcement has already sparked excitement online, with fans looking forward to seeing Sehwag bring his trademark wit and no-nonsense style to the reality show.
On Friday, Prime Video unveiled the first look at the new season, introducing Sehwag as its new host.
The promo offers a glimpse of the former cricketer’s playful take on life’s highs and lows before he steps into the unpredictable world of the show.
Fans were quick to react to Sehwag taking over from Ashneer as host.

Making his debut as a reality show host on a streaming platform, Sehwag said, “Cricket has taught me one thing—no match is won before the final ball, and Rise and Fall Season 2 takes that unpredictability to another level. Set between a lavish penthouse and a challenging basement, the game features 15 celebrities divided into two groups — Rulers and Workers. As they compete for money and power, contestants must rely on strategy, alliances and quick decisions to stay ahead.

‘Rise & Fall Season 2’ follows Arjun Bijlani’s win in the previous season. Produced by Banijay Asia, the show will stream on Prime Video and MX Player. The release date and contestant lineup are yet to be announced.
