Tamil superstar Suriya’s latest release Vishwanath And Sons is receiving a positive response from audiences following its theatrical release on August 14. With the film currently playing in cinemas, fans are already curious about when they will be able to watch it from the comfort of their homes.
According to reports, Netflix has acquired the digital streaming rights to Vishwanath And Sons. However, the filmmakers and the streaming platform have not officially announced the OTT release date yet.
The film is expected to arrive on the streaming platform after completing its theatrical run, with September or October 2026 being speculated as a possible window. The exact date, however, is likely to depend on the film’s box office performance and the agreement between the producers and the streaming service.
Written and directed by Venky Atluri, Vishwanath And Sons stars Suriya as Sanjay Vishwanath, a highly accomplished sharpshooter who has won several international awards. Despite his achievements, his character leads a quiet and disciplined life until a much younger woman, played by Mamitha Baiju, openly expresses her love for him.
The film features an ensemble cast including Radikaa Sarathkumar, Raveena Tandon, Nassar, Sudha, Kalyani Natarajan, Raghu Babu, Sunil Reddy, Rajiv Menon, Bhavani Sri, Viva Harsha, Kaali Venkat and Hyper Aadhi, among others.
