Volkswagen EV: Volkswagen introduced new ID.3 Neo, know design and battery details
Volkswagen ID.3 Neo: German automaker Volkswagen has introduced its new electric hatchback Volkswagen ID.3 Neo for the European market. This model will replace the existing ID.3 and comes with a new design, better interiors and advanced technology. The company has started its booking from April 16 in many European countries including Germany.
New design and modern look
The new ID.3 Neo has been given a completely new front design. It gets a full-width LED light bar, illuminated Volkswagen logo and a clean overall look. According to the company, this design is based on its “Pure Positive” philosophy, which while being futuristic, also maintains the brand identity.
Enhanced and tech-loaded cabin
The biggest change is seen in the cabin. It has better quality materials, new dashboard design and updated controls. The car gets a 10.25-inch digital driver display and a large 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The steering and switchgear have also been redesigned, making the driving experience easier.
Strong battery and long range
The new ID.3 Neo has a battery of up to 79 kWh, which is capable of giving a range of up to 630 kilometers according to the WLTP cycle. The company will offer it with three battery options—50 kWh, 58 kWh and 79 kWh. These provide power up to 170 bhp, 190 bhp and 231 bhp respectively.
Fast charging and advanced features
The 50 kWh and 58 kWh variants support 105 kW DC fast charging, while the top variant offers charging speeds of up to 183 kW. Talking about the features, it has features like connected travel assist, one-pedal driving and vehicle-to-load (V2L) with traffic light recognition.
Apart from this, optional features like augmented reality head-up display, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, massage seats and premium sound system are also provided. Overall, the Volkswagen ID.3 Neo is presented as a premium electric hatchback with modern technology and long range.
